Justice for Dogs' philosophy is to educate dog owners about their newly adopted dog's behavior, breed instincts, and exercise needs in order to provide the best loving home for our dogs.  We want our dogs to not only get a second chance, but to have an owner that understands them.

Established in 2007, Justice for Dogs was formed to help local dogs in Lamoille County and Hardwick who have been turned away by animal shelters.  Prior to 2007, these dogs were set to be euthanized and many dogs lost their lives because there were not any local facilities to work with the dogs.  Justice for Dogs is a volunteer run rescue group that utilizes local boarding facilities to help rehabilitate and socialize the dogs on a daily basis.  Before being adopted from the group, all dogs are spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Justice for Dogs could not survive without the wonderful help of our volunteers and our foster homes.  Since Justice for Dogs does not have an actual "center", we also depend on help from local dog boarding facilities and their employees.  Please visit the links below to learn more about what is available in Lamoille County for your dogs.
